The event will be staged from Dixon Park to the new Market St Lawn on the Foreshore, just opposite Queens Wharf. There will be an option to walk or run 5km from Dixon Park to the City or 10km from the City to Dixon Park and back. Staged entirely on paths and parks around Newcastle, the event is idea for families and fun runners alike to get active and have some Santa Fun. The course will touch some of the Cities most iconic locations including Dixon Park and Bar Beaches, the Anzac Walk, King Edward Park, Newcastle Beach and Newcastle Foreshore. With every person getting a Santa suit to wear, the City will be painted red, all in aid of Variety- The Children's Charity. Come and join us for some fun and healthy activity in Newcastle.
